Trustwave Launches New Cybersecurity Offerings Amid Leadership Change

Cybersecurity is on the forefront of every company’s agenda, and global cybersecurity company Trustwave has been busy rolling out new offerings.

The company, which is the global security arm of Singtel, Optus, and NCS, has customers in 96 countries. It provides a portfolio of managed security services, consulting and professional services, and data protection technology.

This year, Trustwave has launched Trustwave PartnerOne, a new global partner program designed to deliver the most advanced cybersecurity products, services, and practitioners with strategic technology vendors and solution providers.

In addition, it expanded the reach of Trustwave Security Colony, a unique cybersecurity collaboration platform, beyond its birthplace of Australia; released the Trustwave Fusion platform, a cloud-native platform, in Germany; and revealed that the Trustwave Fusion platform is now hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, providing U.S. government agencies and suppliers with threat detection and response services.

And now the company has also announced a new CEO: Eric Harmon. Harmon has more than 20 years of experience in technology services and enterprise sales. He was previously executive vice president of operations at DXC Technology where he was responsible for its $25 billion offering portfolio, including strategy, development, sales, delivery and overall financial performance. In addition, he oversaw the chief technology office, and global solutioning and performance management functions.

Most recently, he served as strategic advisor to SecureTrust, a division of Trustwave. In his new role, Harmon will report to Stuart Harvey, Chairman of Trustwave’s board and executive committee.

“Eric’s extensive experience in the enterprise solutions space and successful transformation and turnaround of Trustwave’s SecureTrust business in the past year, makes him a natural fit for the CEO role,” said Harvey. “He is a proven leader with business and technical savvy, and his familiarity with Trustwave will allow him to take on the new responsibilities seamlessly. We are confident that he is well-placed to lead the team to accelerate Trustwave’s growth strategy to become a global leader in cyber security.”

Harmon replaces Art Wong, who is stepping down as Trustwave CEO after taking on the role in 2018.
