Array Awarded Arlington County IT Support Contract, Appoints Joslin As SVP

Array Information Technology has won Arlington County Government’s IT support contract. Under the new contract, Array will manage the information technology needs of multiple agencies under the government. One of the key areas of focus for its IT support services will be the DTS (Department of Technology Services).

Array’s senior client executive for state and local government, Gary Aughinbaugh said that the company is excited to have the opportunity to provide its deep domain expertise and knowledge to the Arlington County Government.

Aughinbaugh said that Array has more than 15 years of experience in providing similar IT services to the Montgomery County Government. With its extensive background in delivering tech help at the county level, Array is strongly positioned to lend a hand to Arlington County’s IT initiatives.

The new IT services contract covers assistance for network and systems engineering, application development services, project management, ERP backup, cybersecurity services, and technical assistance when needed. With the partnership with Arlington County, Array now has its fourth state and local government client.

The company is already providing IT support services to the State of Maryland’s Montgomery County Government, the city of Baltimore, and Baltimore County Public Schools. Aughinbaugh said that considering the company’s past track record of performance with state and local governments, Array would be able to match up to the expectations and provide competent IT talent that Arlington County would need to meet its goals in an extremely competitive marketplace.

Array knows from experience that when IT is leveraged to run state and local government operations efficiently, it ultimately benefits the residents and the company is proud to be in a position to utilize its skills and experience to help local communities.

In another recent development, Array has named David Joslin as SVP and chief growth officer, which is the firm’s second major hire this month. Joslin has more than three decades of leadership experience across federal and commercial tech service organizations. He will drive forward Array’s growth strategy while leading the teams that execute the strategy.

Array CEO Sumeet Shrivastava said that David’s vast experience and his passion to create deep and trusted client partnerships blends well with the company’s culture of Family, Empowerment and Impact. With David’s leadership, Array’s team is substantially strengthened, which will lead the company into its next phase of growth as it continues to deliver mission-focused, cutting-edge solutions.

Before joining Array, Joslin had spent 21 years with Perot Systems Corp., serving as EVP and general manager for their 2,500-member National Security Division.
